EP!TOME

SINGAPORE – EP!TOME, Singapore’s first live conference organised for young Singaporean entrepreneurs, is set to take place on March 26-27, 2021.

The event will be the first live conference of this scale for youths since the MICE events pilot was announced.

Notable overseas individuals like Kevin Lin (co-founder of live streaming platform Twitch) and Patrick Lee (co-founder of film and television aggregator Rotten Tomatoes) will be speaking at the event via the Virtual Global Stage, which stimulates life-sized, real-time discussions between parties.

About 120 youth entrepreneurs are expected to attend the event.

Minister of State for the Ministry of Trade and Industry and Ministry of Culture, Community, and Youth, Alvin Tan will be gracing the event and delivering an opening address at the opening show on the first day.

Over the two days, EP!TOME will also feature local entrepreneurs and investors, like Chatri Sityodtong (Founder, Chairman, and CEO of ONE Championship), Chua Kee Lock (CEO of Vertex Holdings), Rachel Lim (co-founder of Love, Bonito), and many more.

Participants will also be able to take part in workshops and panels conducted by venture capital funds like Golden Gate Ventures, Cocoon Capital, Monk’s Hill Ventures, Vertex Ventures, and Hustle Fund.

These workshops were curated by the organizers to allow participants to gain first-hand experience in interacting with venture capitalists, and learn the key skill sets that are required for success in the entrepreneur space.

Produced by local startup, Open Circles, in partnership with the National Youth Council (NYC) to provide youth with opportunities to thrive amid the pandemic and beyond, the conference will inspire, motivate and educate these young local entrepreneurs and groom them to be the next generation of unicorns.

EP!TOME is Tthe final installment of a 4-part EP!C project (Entrepreneurship, Personal Development, Innovation Community) that spans over a year, EP!TOME aims to support the growth and journeys of young entrepreneurs in Singapore. – EventsNewsAsia.com
