Edtech Platform Edukasyon.ph Introduces School Reviews, Ratings

Edukasyon.ph, the largest education technology platform in the Philippines, announced the launch of ReviewED, a new feature that allows currently enrolled students and alumni to review and rate their campus experience.

The option to add or view reviews appears on the profile pages of 13,000+ education institutions, including colleges, universities, graduate schools and technical-vocational centers listed in the Edukasyon.ph school search database.

More than 3,500 school reviews have been added to Edukasyon.ph, with University of the Philippines Los Baños, Polytechnic University of the Philippines and University of Santo Tomas being the most reviewed schools to date.

Reviews gather feedback on why they chose the school or why they would recommend it, with ratings on the overall experience and qualities including academics, athletics, diversity, housing, return on investment, safety and student life.

Additional plans for ReviewEd include verified reviews, course reviews and the option to reply to reviews, building open conversations that promote informed decision-making.

“Our aim has always been to help students across the country better evaluate colleges and universities before they make the tough decision on where to apply or enroll. By adding the review option on Edukasyon.ph school profiles, students can access insightful feedback for students, by students. ReviewEd content is all generated by registered users of the platform, and with this, we hope to ensure each student in our community gets a glimpse of what life is really like at their prospective school,” according to Edukasyon.ph CEO Grace David.

Edukasyon claims to draw 10 million annual visitors to its platforms by offering access to senior high schools, colleges and universities, scholarships, online courses, and other resources that enable successful education to employment pathways.

In 2019, Edukasyon.ph acquired FindUniversity, an online directory of colleges, universities, and academic programmes offered across the country, for an undisclosed amount. FindUniversity, launched in 2010, enables access to over 20,000 academic programmes offered in over 900 higher education institutes across the Philippines. – EventsNewsAsia.com
