PHILIPPINES: Phoenix Semiconductor Philippines Corp. has officially signed the civil works construction contract of FSPhil Corp. in connection with the implementation of Company’s Phase 2 manufacturing plant construction project in Clark Freeport Zone (CFZ), Pampanga today.

Under the terms of the lump-sum contract, FS Phil. shall undertake civil works and structural construction works and services, including supply of some equipment and materials for the Main Process Building with an estimated production floor area of 18,000 sq. meters, the new 1,000 sq. meter warehouse, a power utility building and an over bridge structure.

The civil works include the earth moving, levelling, road paving, and the construction of drainage, perimeter fences and gates. Other scopes of work are architecture works and landscaping.

The total lump-sum cost for the project is KRW 12,489,000,000 which is equivalent to P 543,271,500 ($10.905 million). The deadline for project completion is the end of August 2017.

Mr. Byeongchun Lee signed the contract, in line with the authority granted him that granted by the Board of Directors in 2016. FS Phil. President Suk Ho Kang signed the contract on behalf of his company. –
