Wine importers and distributors are convening in Amsterdam for the World’s Leading Wines 2017 at the InterContinental Amstel on 01 February.
The vent gathers the best in the industry for targeted trade tastings, networking events and dinners attended exclusively by the head wine buyers from leading importers and distributors.
Organizers said the event in Amsterdam will be attended by established, quality focused importers and distributors from the Netherlands.
“We only confirm the head wine buyer. That means only owners and chief executive officers will be attending the event in Amsterdam, the organizers said.
Importers and distributors with strong sales into the Dutch market are also invited, selected for invitation due to their focus on building quality wine portfolios and their existing distribution networks and sales channels
The one-day event is packed with sessions and activities that will provide importers and distributors quality time to interact and forge business.
Among the agenda of the event are the market briefin and Q&A session with local wine trade expert; walk around trade tasting, exclusively attended by senior trade buyers; and networking dinner with senior trade buyers.

To ensure that only internationally recognised wineries attend the event, the organizers of World’s Leading Wines – Amsterdam only invited producers whose wins have won recognition from the world’s leading wine critics and competitions,.
These include Decanter World Wine Awards, Concourse Mondial de Bruxelles, International Wine and Spirits Competition, London International Wine Challenge, Mundus Vini, Wine Advocates/Robert Parker, Wine Enthusiast, Wine Spectator, and major national wine competitions.
