Digital Taipei 2016 Features Three Days of Activities

TAIWAN – For the first time since 2009, Digital Taipei, Taiwan’s only professional B2B exhibition and summit, will be held for three days at the TWTC Exhibition Hall 1 on 7-9 September.

In the past years, Digital Taipei was held for two days only but organizers this year decided to extend the event to three days due to the number of activities lined-up.

Digital Taipei 2016, hosted by Taiwan’s Industrial Development Bureau (IDB), will carry the theme SMART, which represents Smart, Mobile, Application, VR/AR, and Technology.

Aside from the digital exhibition, this year’s event will also focus on the digital content industry in the global arena.

The event will also feature four activities – Achievement Display, International Forum, Special Event, and Business Matching – to further provide participants a venue for business to business meetings and industry exchanges.

Digital Taipei 2016 – Venue To Explore Asia Opportunities

Organizers of the event promises to bring the latest industry trend and information for those who will be participating, adding that those who are exploring Asia business opportunities will find the event the perfect venue.

This year’s list of speakers include Levi Buchanan of Electronic Arts, Hirotaka Ogura of Adways Inc, Yi-Hong Li of CJS Interactive, Thomas Reisenegger of ICO Partners, Kenken Rudy Salim of LYTO, Meric Eryurek of Gaming Istanbul, Robert Wu of App Annie, and Greg Madison of Unity Technologies.

Last year, Digital Taipei featured 47 international speakers and 340 forum sessions attended by 2,450 professional participants. About 170 international buyers from over 22 countries also participated in the business matching.

Among the international buyers that participated last year were from the United States, France, Canada, China, Thailand, South Korea, United King, Mexico, Singapore, and a lot more.
