FRANCE – Cannes Yachting Festival, the largest boat show in Europe, will take place in the South of France from 6 to 11 September with a new feature, the exclusive La Terrasse section.
La Terrasse section will be exclusively for VIPs and stakeholders in the luxury industry, giving them a 180-degree view of the biggest yachts on display.
According to event organizers, La Terrasse will allow visitors to experience the different offerings of luxury brands, such as cars, private aviation, jewelry, watches, leather goods and more.
Those who will get the chance to be invited inside the La Terrasse will be able to get a good view of Vieux Port, the bay of Cannes, Corisette, as well as the magnificent Lerins Islands.
Over 50,000 visitors are expected to witness Cannes Yachting Festival to see more than 600 boats on display. The event will take place at Cannes’s Port Pierre Canto and Vieux Port.

Among the much-awaited participants in the annual exhibition is the Prestige, Jeanneau, Monte Carlo and Beneteau of France, the Sunseeker of Riva, England, the Chris Craft of the US, and a lot more.
Last year a total of 630 boats, measuring from 2.10 to 52 metres were on display, with 191 new boats, including 107 that launched their world premieres.
There were also 40 second-hand vessels ranging from 22 to 52 meters, which were all displayed at Port Pierre Canto.
The show also featured 140 yachts longer than 20 meters, 120 sail boats, and 45 multihulls.
In 2015, about 60 percent of the 530 exhibitors came from abroad while nearly 50 percent of the 50,000 visitors were from outside France.
