Retail World Philippines seeks to give participants an exclusive look into the country’s future of commerce when it returns this year at the SMX Convention Centre in Manila.

Set on 6-7 September, Retail World Philippines 2016 is colocated with Cards & Payments, eCommerce Show, and the Cash Handling Show Philippines 2016.

Last year, the combined events gathered more than 1,500 participants last year, from retailers, banks, tecos, and etailers.

Retail World Philippines features a conference – where participants spend time with C-level executives from the country’s retailers – and an exhibition.

Keynote speakers during the two-day event include Brian Cu, managing director of Grab Philippines; Noemi Azura, CEO & President of Philcare; and Paulo Campos, founder & managing director of Zalora Philippines.

Cu will discuss the topic “R-I-P Cash? Not Quite Just Yet: The Case for Why Cash (and Currency) is Still King”. Azura will tackle the theme “Revolutionizing Filipino Healthcare: Embracing the Omni Age of E-Commerce”.

Campos, meanwhile, will discuss “The Premise for E-Commerce Restructuring in 2016: The Winner Takes It All”.

Other speakers during the event are Lazada Philippines CEO Inanc Balci, Ensogo MD Quentin Bouche, Adidas Philippines E-Commerce Country Manager Marx Cabrera, Jollibee Foods Corp Head of Loyalty Programs Ed Pasion, and a lot more.

Philippine Retail World – 2,000 Participants Expected

This year, at least 2,000 participants are joining the event. The participants come from the following industries: retailers/etailers, FMCG, F&B and hotels, entertainment, cinema, theme parks, airlines, passenger rail, ferry, travel agencies, insurance and comparison sites, media and publishing, utilities, telcos and government.
